Paddling canoe shuttle services
Our shuttle service consists of 23 – 25 foot freighter-type boats with 40 – 55 horsepower outboard motors operated by well-seasoned bay travelers. The travel time from Harricanaw/Kesagami River to the Moose River area is approximately 2.5 to 3 hours.
Freighter Boat and paddling canoe ratio is: 1 freighter/ 2 canoes and 4 passengers including gear.
Our quote for the service is as follows:
$ 475.00 /freighter canoe
Coordination fees (25%)
A non-refundable reservation fee of 25% is payable two (2) weeks prior to pickup date paid with Visa credit card.
Please pay particular attention to the attachment entitled, *** IMPORTANT NOTICE***. To ensure there is a clear understanding, be certain all your companions are made aware of the contents.

Due to inclement weather we cannot guarantee pickup for any given day. In the event of a delayed pickup, we strongly recommend all clients to allow for a flexible schedule by, at least, a day or two. In every case, client and employee safety must & will take precedence.
As a forewarning, our watercraft operators are not permitted to travel on the waters of James Bay once the wind speed is beyond 20 kilometers per hour, particularly, if the winds are from the north or westerly direction. In addition, time of travel is dictated by daylight and the arctic tides. High tide is the preferred time of travel.
